The ARTEV6000
Jevons Robotics’ ARTEV6000 has an automated hole-dipping and blast-hole quality-assurance system, increasing equipment utilisation across the drill-and-blast cycle. The ARTEV 6000 brings Jevons proven battery electric autonomy to the most demanding blast environments. The 6-tonne is engineered for heavy payloads in extreme, steep, contoured and uneven ground, providing reliable capability in rugged pits and remote, irregular work areas. This innovative platform features a unique self-levelling chassis, on grade technology, a vision system with automated hole detection capabilities, allowing remote blast hole condition insights to be delivered autonomously into the customers chosen blasting software suite.
It's high capacity supports interchangeable payloads for explosives loading, QA/QC, stemming, geophysical sensing and other critical functions. A solution that, through line-of-sight or teleoperation control, removes workers from the line of fire and fully automates the loading of explosives, engineered for continuous day and or night shift operations for the drill and blast sector.
The ARTEV1000
Jevons Robotics’ ARTEV1000 is robust, versatile automation ready. It has an automated hole-dipping and blast-hole quality-assurance system, increasing equipment utilisation across the drill-and-blast cycle. It has most of the same technology as the larger ARTEV6000 except for self-levelling, just a smaller machine which can easily be moved around site on its trailer. From loading and QA/QC to orebody logging and geophysical sensing, one robust platform enables all your high value tasks without the burden of managing multiple specialised machinery.
The ARTEV1000 Pre-Split System
Our fleet is a world-first robotic system! The ARTEV1000 Pre-Split System automates the loading of packaged pre-split explosives that locates and aligns with the blast hole before deploying and retaining the pre-split explosive product at the required position.
The ARTEV fleet can effectively navigate slopes while ensuring a stable chassis for payload deployment. Its dual and four-wheel driving, skid steer, crab steer functionality offers unparalleled flexibility for maneuvering when navigating the bench environment.
In addition to reducing personnel exposure, the ARTEV platform is designed to support more consistent task execution, remote operations, reduced reliance on specialised on-bench labour and improved equipment utilisation. Its battery-electric design also eliminates diesel emissions at the point of operation.
While drilling has advanced in recent years through automation and electrification, blasting operations have largely remained manual due to a lack of practical technology. The risks associated with manually hauling and loading explosives mean that workers are unable to safely conduct loading and stemming activities during night shifts.
